refurbished razor trimmer could not be retracted and couldn't be turned off. factory serviced means little. supplier is out of stock. waiting for replacement. sorry i every ordered it.

For under $70, this is not a bad price for a shaver of this design with LCD display and side pulsing technology. But this is just the shaver by itself. It does not come with the cleaning station it was originally packaged with. But even worse, it does NOT come with the charging cord! I checked with the supplier. You get ONLY the shaver. This is being sold as a replacement unit.
Besides, this is the older 7000 series model, several generations behind the latest Braun shaver model. Braun has made some really nice improvements at this point. I strongly suggest not wasting your money on this older technology. Invest a few extra $$ and at least get the 8000 series or the newest model. You'll be glad you did.

This is my second time ordering a "refurbished" Braun 7000-model shaver in the last 4 years. As far as I am concerned, the unit is brand new without the usual fancy packaging. The switch of the first unit stucked at "on" position for no apparent reason. Otherwise both units are (were) fine products.

i've used electric razors for about 15 years now and have owned a remington, a panasonic and 2 brauns. my old braun 7505 finally died and i tried a couple others (including the braun series 3) that i took back and got my money back on and went ahead and purchased another braun syncro. i'm not disappointed. the braun series 3 was ok but this is worth the extra money. it shaves faster, closer and more comfortably than any of the other razors i've used. (the panasonic was as fast and close but the replacement heads weren't as durable and cost about 50% more than the braun) easy to clean and relatively quiet for a foil shaver. can be used with or without the cord so if the battery dies it's still usable. i'll be sticking with this one as long as possible.

I have also used the Braun for over two years and it has run flawlessly. I too have problems with it leaving random hairs on my neck (despite my best efforts to get them) that I need to clip off with the clipper attachment from time to time. Otherwise it is an excellent,comfortable shaver that I highly recommend.
