This razor is great for men AND women. It provides a close shave and you can use it several times on your legs or face before it gets dull. Compared to the pricier razors, I think this one works just as well; there's no need to buy a more expensive one. In fact, I've found that the store brand knock-offs of this razor work just as well.

I'd recommend the Gillette Good News Plus razor to family and friends. The Good News Plus gave me a clean, close shave. The Lubrastrip is great and creates a definite advantage over other razors. However, the product would probably perform even better if it had a pivoting head.

I normally use an electric razor but I'm not happy with how close the shave is. I've wanted to try some of the disposable razors to see if they're worthwhile. I was pleasantly surprised with the Good News razor. It was a very close shave but the razor itself seemed a little light in my hand (maybe I'm too used to an electric). I'll continue to use this razor for a few weeks to see if I can get used to how light it is.

The Gillette razors were wonderful. I usually don't use this brand, but I'd definitely buy these disposable razors again. They work very well for a disposable razor.

I didn't realize that these were a men's product when I chose them, but they worked really well for me. I needed an inexpensive disposable razor (I use men's usually) for shaving my legs. These provided a surprisingly close shave and were very comfortable to use and hold. I'd highly recommend them and the price is excellent.

These razors are okay for disposable razors and significantly better than the generic or other low end razors. For a better shave, though, I prefer to use the more expensive razors, because you really get what you pay for.

This is a very good disposable razor. I've been using another brand, but this one seems to shave much cleaner and with less nicks (actually no nicks). I would definitely recommend this razor to others, and I did give a couple to my son who really liked them too. He usually uses an electric razor, but said that he'd use these for really close shaves. I'll definitely be using this razor instead of the one I used before the Test Drive.

I'm very pleased with the smoothness and closeness of the shave these give and would recommend this product to everyone. Even though it doesn't have the lube strip, it's still very kind to my skin. I'd purchase this in the future and hope others would do the same, as it's a great product.

I've used single blade razors for years. NO more after using these razors. I used to get razor burned, with nicks and cuts everywhere and a great burn after putting aftershave on. These razors cut smoothly and without grabbing my skin. They don't ""clog"" up either. With a simple pass under running water, its cleaned right out. I'm very happy with these razors. They make shaving a nice, comfortable thing to do.

I have tried many razors over the years. Both men's and women's, and both the throw-away disposables and the ones w/ the fancy handles and disposable cartridges.
For most products, I buy the "store" brand because when it comes to shampoo, for example, or pain relievers, if the store brand says "compare to Tylenol" or "compare to Tgel" or something like that, you can rest assured it's the same formula and you get more bang for your buck.
Not so the case w/ Daisy razors. I have gotten store brands (at different stores) of this razor - in similar pink styles, but half the performance. The knock-offs rust faster, dull faster, and are harder to clean.
Immediately after shaving, I run the razor under hot water and brush thoroughly with a nail brush to make sure all rust-causing gunk is removed. I can make a Daisy razor last for over 2 months before the blade gets dull or I start knicking myself. The white strip is more than decoration - it actually makes the shave smoother. A great double-blade razor that is long-lasting and affordable for a disposable.

I have the curse of every dark-haired girl with any ethnic background - profound leg hair. Each hair is thick enough to string a tennis racket and I just don't feel clean unless I have thoroughly shaved my legs and no stubble is showing.
I don't care much for the hollow handle that drips water everywhere, or for the cheesy pink color and embedded flower pattern, but the blades can't be beat.
I have tried different razors, those marketed for men and women, and I've tried single, double and triple blade disposable razors, and non-disposable varieties. The smooth lubricating strip at the top and the perfect distance between the strip and the blades makes for a perfect shave that does not involve accidentally peeling off a strip of skin - carrot-peeler style, as I've had happen with other razors.
As I mentioned above, the crazy grooves all over the handle and the back of the unit catch water and then spill all over your hands and legs as you shave, rinse and continue shaving - it's enough to drive you crazy!
I like to be a smart shopper and there are many times I will opt for the "store brand" at the grocery store, but not when it comes to these razors. The store brand versions of the Daisy Razors bend too easily and you end up accidentally stripping off parts of yourself along with the hair - makes for a painful, long cut before you realize what you've done.
It's beyond me why they can't make these in black - or at least yellow, without the embedded flowers and other features that grab every droplet of water so you can spill it on yourself again... but for now, it's the best I've ever used.

I'd say these razors are mediocre at best. I got a decent shave, but have had closer with other disposables. Also, there are razors on the market with much better handles. I found these to be too short and straight. I'd recommend other brands to friends over these.

I have tried other disposable razors and thought that the Gillette Daisy plus was better than most. It provides a very smooth shave, especially with the double blade system. The only thing I didn't care for was the moisture strip along the top of the blade. It didn't make for a smoother shave in my opinion. In fact, I'd prefer not to have it at all. Overall, a very good product that I'd definitely recommend to others.

I really like the daisy razors. I got a close shave without nicks or cuts on my legs. They stay sharp for a long time compared to other razors. I shave with soap, so the moisturizing strip helps the razor guide smoothly over my legs. I think it's kind of silly to make the razor pink. I think it should be lime green. Then it'd really look like a daisy.

I really liked this product. The razors shave very well and I love the moisture strip on the top of the razor. I didn't get any razor burn with this either. I will definitely buy this razor again.
